Patras Working Papers in Linguistics is a biannual edition which brings together the best papers by staff members, graduate/postgraduate students, guest researchers or affiliates of Linguistics Division of the Department of Philology of the University of Patras. PWPL is planned to appear in one volume available in both hardcopy and electronic format. Each volume will have a special topic and thematic volumes may alternate with volumes of general interest or conference/workshop proceedings, depending on the availability of papers and the type of topics.The editor of PWPL aims at disseminating the ongoing research or research results and stimulating the production of new papers.

Patras Working Papers in Linguistics welcomes papers, dealing with any field of Linguistics, synchronic or diachronic, theoretical or applied. Papers can be submitted in English or Greek and they will be accepted after a peer review. The editor of PWPL will pick the reviewers from scholars or other experts who expressed a willingness to referee for the journal. Submissions will be evaluated by two anonymous reviewers according to: (a) the significance of the main ideas; (b) the quality of the papers; (c) the aims, argumentation and conclusions of the work; (e) the bibliographic completeness. Reviewers will send comments to the editor about the papers and the editor will make the final decision about the publication of the submission. Comments will be sent in 40 days after the submission of the paper.

Patras Working Papers in Linguistics is a biannual edition, publishing linguistic papers by affiliates of Linguistics Division of the Department of Philology of the University of Patras.
